In order to properly comply with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of combating corruption, the Partnership implements compliance control, which is a set of organizational measures for internal monitoring, control over compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, prevention of violations and elimination of consequences, as well as the causes of their occurrence.
The main functions of the compliance function are the detection, prevention and prophylaxis of corruption, control over the implementation of measures to combat corruption, including the assessment of corruption risks in the Partnership. Also, effective settlement of conflicts of interest, control over the observance of professional ethics requirements by the Partnership's employees and ensuring compliance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Combating Corruption".
Analysis of corruption risks in 2024:
Analysis of corruption risks is one of the main tools for preventing corruption offenses and allows us to solve problems of ensuring the compliance of implemented anti-corruption measures, thereby increasing the effectiveness of anti-corruption measures. The Partnership conducted an internal analysis of corruption risks for the period of activity from January 2024 to December 2024. Based on the results of the analysis, recommendations were developed aimed at further development of the control environment in order to prevent corruption risks, as well as to ensure compliance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Combating Corruption".
Hotline
The Partnership operates the Samruk-Kazyna JSC Hotline. The Hotline is a channel for reporting suspected violations of the law and/or the Code of Business Ethics, cases of fraud, corruption, unauthorized disclosure of confidential and insider information.
